Bulls Coleman Gone for Year
Wednesday, August 17th, 2033
The season is finished for Shawn Coleman of the Mt. Vernon Bulls. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Bulls starting pitcher suffered a torn flexor tendon in his elbow while throwing a pitch in a recent game against the Grim Reapers. Team doctors said it would take at least 8-9 months to heal.
To date this year, Coleman shows a 4-3 record, 12 starts, 74.1 innings, 74 strikeouts and a 4.00 ERA.
