This promising rookie right fielder for Syracuse garnered everyone's respect by putting up some remarkable numbers and picking up the Player of the Week trophy. The 24-year-old haunted opposing pitchers hitting .833 (5-for-6) with 1 home run and 2 RBIs last week. This season Longoria is swinging the bat at a .421 rate with 8 hits in 19 at-bats.
