Season Ends for António Martínez of Belleville Monday, August 1st, 2033 The season is ending on a bad note for António Martínez, reliever for the Belleville Bulls. It was announced today that he will miss the rest of the season because of injury. Martínez was hurt against the Hogsmeade Cauldrons while throwing a pitch. He suffered a damaged elbow ligament and will be out for at least 12-13 months. To date this year Martínez has won 2 and lost 5 with a 3.35 ERA, no saves and 59 strikeouts in 17 relief appearances. |
