Hoaloha Hits in 30 Straight Games Thursday, July 28th, 2033 The Grim Reapers may have proven to be mere mortals today as they lost 8-5 to the Louisiana Dragoons, but Semo Hoaloha continued to hit like a god. The first baseman collected 2 hits in 3 at-bats in the loss and extended his hitting streak to 30 games. "Hoaloha is playing great and is on fire right now," Reapers manager Enrique Zumaya said. "Hopefully his play can spark the rest of our team and help us pick up some wins." Hoaloha was apparently not happy with the game and when pressed by reporters in the locker room only said "nothing else matters but the loss." Semo Hoaloha walked in the 2nd, struck out in the 4th, doubled in the 6th and singled in the 8th. In 67 games Hoaloha is hitting .375 this season with 95 hits, 6 home runs, 53 RBIs, 26 walks, .441 OBP and has scored 31 runs. |
