Kooijmans Touches All the Bases, Hits for Cycle Thursday, July 21st, 2033 Syracuse's Franck Kooijmans accomplished what few others have done -- he hit for the cycle, collecting a single, double, triple and home run in the same game. For the day, Kooijmans finished 4-for-5 with 3 RBI and 3 runs scored and helped the Storm knock off the Mt. Vernon Bulls 14-2 at Storm Park. "I didn't even know I was about to hit for the cycle until after," Kooijmans told reporters following the game. "One of the guys mentioned it when I got back to the dugout." Franck Kooijmans doubled in the 2nd, hit an RBI triple in the 3rd, flied out in the 4th, singled in the 6th and hit a two-run home run off Joseph Barrier in the 8th.
