Dixon, Thunder Hawks Wallop Polar Bears in Game 2 of R1
With third baseman Aaron Dixon leading the charge, the Ft. Polk South Thunder Hawks defeated the visiting Billings Polar Bears, 5-4, in Game 2 of the 3L AA Championship today. Dixon went 2 for 3 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 times at Thunder Hawks Ballpark to help Ft. Polk South force a 1-1 tie in the best-of-5 series.

Dixon had an important at-bat with the bases empty in the bottom of the sixth, when he hit a solo home run. The Thunder Hawks went on to win.

In comments to the Ft. Polk South Today, Dixon admitted that he doesn't always push himself. "But the results," he said, "speak for themselves."

Game 3 is scheduled for Saturday, September 24th, 2033 at The Igloo. Slated to start are César Soto for the Ft. Polk South Thunder Hawks and Paco Rojas for the the Billings Polar Bears.
