Blitzed by Gentry, Buzz, Doubledays Sink Further in R1

The Salt Lake City Buzz moved to within one game of the Round 2 today, downing the visiting Tremont Doubledays at Spirits Stadium by a score of 6-4. Buzz shortstop Christian Gentry was named player of the game after he was 2 for 4 with a home run and a triple, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 4. The win gives the Buzz a 2-0 advantage in the best-of-5 SL AAA Championship.
Gentry's nice game included a clutch 3-run home run in the bottom of the first.
"We were able to get some things going offensively," said Gentry.
Game 3 is scheduled for Saturday at Doubledays Stadium in Tremont. The scheduled starters for the game are Markus Widner for Salt Lake City and Lorenzo Sánchez for Tremont.
