PL A Championship Game 1 Victory for Snider\n and Valley
When he got to Valley, Dale Snider was just worrying about staying on the roster. Today, he was starring in the PL A Championship.

The 23-year-old rookie left-hander shut out the visiting Gwinnett County Black Cats 2-0 in a remarkable performance at The Heron Refuge today. With the win, the Blue Sox took a 1-0 lead in the best-of-5 PL A Championship.

The Black Cats had trouble solving Snider, who surrendered no earned runs on 3 hits over 7 innings.

"It was a solid team effort and we'll try to keep this momentum going," Snider told reporters after the game.

Game 2 is scheduled for tomorrow at The Heron Refuge in Valley Green. The scheduled starters for the game are Sherten Apostel for Gwinnett County and Anthony Hood for Valley.
