Francia, Jets Wallop Chiefs in Game 1 of R1
The Kennesaw Jets took the first game of the SL A Championship in dramatic fashion today, topping the Connetquot Chiefs 7-3 in an extra-inning walk-off win. Jets catcher Joam Francia was selected player of the game, as he went 2-5 with a home run. He drove in 6 runs and scored once.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the tenth. With no one out, Francia hit a curveball from Lloyd Natoff for a grand slam home run. The Jets, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"One win at a time, one game at a time. We try not to get too far ahead of ourselves," Francia told the Kennesaw News.

The next game is scheduled for tomorrow at Jets Stadium. Slated to start are Robert Smalls for Connetquot and Júlio Gutiérrez for Kennesaw.
