Gaoteote 3-4 as Rookies Squeeze Past Santa Fe
A 4-RBI performance from left fielder Palaie Gaoteote, who leads the 3R in total bases with 214, led the Quebec Rookies to a 6-5 win over the Santa Fe Revolvers. Pi-ao Tsao earned the win for Quebec. He lasted 5.2 innings, allowing 3 earned runs on 5 hits, while striking out 6. With the win, he raised his record to 6-0. Quebec is now 37-27, Santa Fe 36-28.

Quebec grabbed the momentum in the bottom of the fifth, when Gaoteote, who is tied for 4th in the 3R with a .359 batting average, hit a run-scoring double. His 16th double of the season put the Rookies out in front, 4-3.

"I was able to barrel up some pitches," said Gaoteote.
