Amarillo pitcher Wilbert Gallegos gave the Baby Lakers all they could handle, but in the end, Bompton left Field of the Browns with a 2-1 win. Gallegos allowed 2 earned runs on 5 hits over 7.1 innings. Abdul-Nasir Rabah earned the win for Bompton. He lasted 6.1 innings, allowing 1 earned run on 6 hits, while striking out 6.
