Warheads Use Late-Game Magic to Beat Fire
|
Amarillo Warheads starter Joël Delorme was locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Franklin Fire, 3-1. The winning streak has now reached 4 games for the Warheads.
Damien Monroe was the walk-off hero for Amarillo. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Warheads center fielder hit a dramatic 2-run home run to send the teams home.
"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Delorme said after the game.
