Rookies Slip Past Bompton, 4-3

The Quebec Rookies took Bompton pitcher Abdul-Nasir Rabah's best shot and still were able to claim a win at Ballpark of Jensen Beach. The final score had Quebec getting past the Baby Lakers, 4-3. Rabah went 6 innings and allowed no earned runs, striking out 9. The winner was Quebec reliever Eisse Tak, now 1-0. The loser was Laurens Bancroft. After today's action, Quebec sits at 17-5, while Bompton falls to 10-12.
Quebec's win came gift-wrapped. With no one out in the bottom of the tenth, with the game tied, Christian Patriarche reached on an error by the SS, driving in 1 run.
In postgame remarks, Patriarche said: "To all who've been doubting my effort -- I hope they saw this game."
