The Ellesmere Island Snowpeople got a strong performance from pitcher Marty McFly, who stymied the Greenport offense en route to a 1-0 win at Ballpark of Robbins. Omar Morales earned the save for Ellesmere Island, his 2nd of the year. The Snowpeople bumped their record to 24-23 with this latest triumph.

The Snowpeople got a big at-bat from second baseman Teok-kyu Pak. For the game, Pak was 2 for 4 with 2 singles. In the top of the sixth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 33rd hit of the season gave Ellesmere Island a 1-0 lead.

In postgame comments to the Ellesmere Island Bulletin, Pak said, "If the effort is there, the wins will come."
