Calhamar Now 3-4 After Subduing Snowpeople
Newcastle played host to Ellesmere Island at the friendly confines of Newcastle Stadium.

Getting an impressive start from Valentin Calhamar, Newcastle beat Ellesmere Island by the score of 11-2. The Mermen now have a mark of 19-20.

The Snowpeople had little chance against Calhamar, who overpowered Ellesmere Island hitters and struck out 12.

"We'll grab a cold one tonight and go after another win tomorrow," Calhamar said.
