Gobbles-Rooster Rips Union City for 5 Hits
Meester Gobbles-Rooster put on a hitting clinic today as the Germantown Uruguayans dumped the Union City Hillers 10-6 at Ballpark of Albuquerque.

The Germantown third baseman made Union City defenders earn their pay, lashing Union City pitching for 5 hits in 5 at-bats in the game. He told BNN reporters after the game that his strategy was "just hit it where they pitched it."

"Too often I try too hard to pull the ball," Gobbles-Rooster said in his postgame press conference. "Today, I just went with the pitch."

Meester Gobbles-Rooster singled in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, hit a two-run double in the 6th and hit a two-run single in the 8th.
