Ellesmere Island Snowpeople starter Kosami Matsumoto turned in an exceptional performance against the Capital Hill Interns at Corpus Christi Grounds, resulting in a Ellesmere Island win, 4-2. The save was John Fain's, his 3rd. The Snowpeople improved to 12-8.

The Snowpeople beat the Interns with some clutch hitting. The double by Duncan Witteman in the bottom of the fifth is a good example. With two down, Witteman gave his team the lead, 4-2, when he came through with the big hit.

"I play this game for myself and my family, but of course it's always nice when we can win," said Matsumoto.
