Capital Hill Interns starter Ramón Gálvez was locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Newcastle Mermen, 6-2. In 8.2 innings, Gálvez surrendered 9 hits, while striking out 6 and walking 2. He allowed 2 runs. The Mermen, now 5-10, continue their poor start.
Michael Ruscoe, who is tied for 4th in the SR in triples with 1, helped out the Capital Hill cause in the top of the second inning with a 2-run home run. For the game, the left fielder went 1 for 3 with a home run and was hit by a pitch. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2.
