Hillers Take Nail-Biter Over Canucks
The Union City Hillers defeated the Moose Jaw Canucks, 7-4, in USSL Rookie action at Crusaders Ballpark, with Union City pitcher Pedro Vázquez named player of the game. Union City reliever Cutter Dylas picked up the win, bumping his record to 2-0. Seppe Coussement was collared with the loss. Moose Jaw, at 3-12, has had a dismal start to the season.

Union City took a 7-4 lead on Ken Barger's 2nd home run of the season. The 3-run home run came off Moose Jaw pitcher Seppe Coussement in the bottom of the 11th.

"Good win for us, tough loss for them," said Barger.
