Galván Dazzles in Staten Island Win
Ramón Galván never let the Mermen get in a groove. The right-hander used his bread and butter, his cutter, to pitch the Pizza Rats to a 3-1 win. The Pizza Rats, now 9-3, have hit the ground running this season.

The Mermen had trouble solving Galván, who surrendered no earned runs on 5 hits over 8.2 innings.

"We'll enjoy this win," said Galván. "But there's more we hope to accomplish."
