Snowpeople Continue Hot Start to Season With Win
Ellesmere Island Snowpeople starter Marty McFly pitched effectively against the Newcastle Mermen at Corpus Christi Grounds. The right-hander spearheaded his team's 8-3 win. The Snowpeople, now 5-1, have been on a roll in the early going.

Duncan Witteman helped out the Ellesmere Island cause in the bottom of the third inning with a run-scoring double. For the game, the center fielder went 3-4 with a double and 2 singles, while scoring 2 times.

"We came out aggressive," said Snowpeople manager Javier Ramos. "We came out swinging the bats."
