The San Diego Clippers bested the Memphis Music by a score of 6-5, with left fielder Man-su Chong getting the main credit. On the day, Chong went 4-4 with a triple, a double, and 2 singles. He scored 3 runs for the Clippers. The Music drop to 9-9 and continue their inconsistent start to the 2033 season.
Sze Qi's hit in the top of the ninth was a game-changer. With one out, he rapped a changeup from Brant Mielke for a run-scoring single. It put San Diego in front, 6-5.
"It wasn't our best performance," said Chong, "but a win in this league is nothing to sniff at."
