Guzzlers Bridle Blaze, 4-2
|
Galesburg Guzzlers starter Georgy Gilyazitdinov turned in an exceptional performance against the South Beach Blaze at Galesburg Field, resulting in a Galesburg win, 4-2. Galesburg is now 38-46.
The game was on the line with two out in the top of the eighth inning, but Ricardo Pérez didn't flinch. With runners on 1st and 2nd and South Beach trailing 4-2, Pérez retired Dave Broom to end the threat. "Nothing to it," said Pérez, with a wink.
