Victory Pushes 1787 BC Record to 36-31
|
Delaware beat Valley on the strength of starter Abakada Mana's fine effort. The right-hander led his team to a 4-1 win. The third-place 1787 BC improved to 36-31.
It could have been a different outcome for Delaware, had it not been for Román Ramírez, the 19-year old center fielder . Ramírez contributed a 2-run single in the top of the second inning to put Delaware up, 3-0.
"Whenever we hold the other team to one run," said 1787 BC manager Kyle Holman, "I like our chances."
