Blaze Top Black Cats Behind Abresch, 3-1
|
South Beach used a superb performance from starting pitcher Ingo Abresch to down the Gwinnett County Black Cats, 3-1. South Beach, at 20-17, sits in third place in the Premier A.
The Blaze liked what they saw from Abresch. The 22-year old pitcher had a commanding presence on the mound, limiting the Black Cats to 1 earned run on 3 hits over 8 innings, and striking out 6.
"We put together a nice win," Abresch said.
