Walleye Knock Off BC at Walleye Tank

Walla Walla played host to Put-In-Bay at the friendly confines of Walleye Tank.
The Walla Walla Walleye downed the Put-In-Bay BC, 6-4, at Walleye Tank. The Walleye were led by José Román, who captured player of the game honors. He went 1-1 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Walla Walla reliever Chris Lowe picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Carl Stewart took the loss.
Román contributed a big hit, a 3-run home run, for Walla Walla in the bottom of the seventh. With his team trailing 4-3, Román took a curveball from Carl Stewart and stroked the home run to right. His 1st home run of the season allowed the Walleye to leap in front, 6-4.
"Our guys are never satisfied," said Walla Walla manager Rafael Clemente.
With their winning streak at 4, the Walleye have raced to a strong start this season.
