Victory Pushes Jets Record to 65-16
|
Kennesaw Jets starter Dennis Bly turned in an exceptional performance against the Nebraska Plainsmen at Jets Stadium, resulting in a Kennesaw win, 3-2. Júlio Enríquez got the save, his 4th in 6 chances. The Jets own a robust 65-16 mark.
Kennesaw took a 3-2 lead in the bottom of the seventh inning. With one out, second baseman Craig Beach hit a 3-run home run that set the crowd abuzz.
"Baseball is about momentum," said Bly, "and we feel we've got it in our favor after that win."
