It was a good time at The Dragon Den, where fans came to watch the Washington Generals and Yellowknife Dragonblood get after it.
The Yellowknife Dragonblood defeated the Washington Generals, 7-3. Earning player of the game honors was left fielder Wen-hua Zhào, who was 2-3 with a home run and a walk. Ismael Riddles got the win, improving to 8-5. He pitched 5.2 innings, giving up 8 hits and 2 runs, while striking out 5 and walking 3. Ron Harris closed the game out for Yellowknife, earning his 1st save.
Yellowknife second baseman Mitsuhide Bando contributed to the cause with a bases-clearing double in the bottom of the third. For the game, Bando was 1-3 with a double, while adding 4 RBI.
Bando called the triumph "a good team win."
Yellowknife is now 47-34, Washington 38-43.
