Colwill Goes Wild, But Jets Win
Washington second baseman Robin Colwill had a good game, even if his team did not. The Generals dropped a 12-5 decision to Kennesaw at Washington Park. Colwill went 3-3 with 2 home runs and a walk. Cristóbal Román picked up the win, improving his season record to 8-0. He struck out 6 in 6 innings. The save went to Ernesto Méndez, his 2nd this season.

Joam Francia, who is tied for 3rd in the SA with a .975 OPS, contributed to the Kennesaw win with a grand slam home run in the top of the sixth. For the game, the catcher had 2 hits in 5 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 4 runs batted in.

"We swung the bats good throughout the lineup," said Kennesaw skipper António Sáenz.

The Jets own a robust 61-15 mark.
