Washington got a strong outing from Arie de Nooyer as the Generals defeated the Idaho Falls Chukars, 6-2, at Washington Park. Washington is now 26-35.
The game hit a turning point in the bottom of the fourth inning, when the Generals were trailing 2-1. Robin Padilla delivered a two-out 2-run double for Washington, catapulting his team into the lead.
"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Padilla said after the game.
