Plainsmen Win in Glorious Fashion
Mancelona got a terrific performance from pitcher Rhys Maskell, but it wasn't enough to beat the Nebraska Plainsmen. Nebraska won the Plain Old Stadium contest, 4-3. Maskell was the player of the game despite being on the losing side. He threw 7 innings of 5-hit ball. Nebraska has now won 7 games in a row.

Zhong-yan Zha was the walk-off hero for Nebraska. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Plainsmen third baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
