Generals Need Extras to Top River Rats
Washington catcher Robin Padilla picked up 3 ribbies while helping his team beat back the Columbia River Rats, 7-6. Washington has a 3-game win streak, while Columbia has lost 3 in a row.

Washington won the game in the bottom of the 12th inning. With two outs and Félix Palma on the mound for Columbia, first baseman Dan Vanblarcom hit a dramatic solo home run, bringing Generals fans to their feet.

"You know, at the end of the day, it's about who scores the most runs," said Washington manager Jacob Curtis.
