Dominant Performance by Hartridge in Nebraska Win
|
The Nebraska Plainsmen defeated the Columbia River Rats, 2-0, in USSL Single A action at Columbia Stadium, with Nebraska pitcher Jason Hartridge named player of the game. The save went to Morton Steele, his 8th this season. Nebraska is now 16-23, Columbia 24-15.
Though he did not get the decision, Hartridge did all he could to keep his team close, twirling a shutout through 7.1 innings, until Nebraska eventually rallied past the River Rats.
"We'll savor this win," Hartridge told the Nebraska Observer, "then get ready for the next game."
