Ángel Ríos put on a hitting clinic today as the Connetquot Chiefs dumped the Athletic Club KC U-24 5-3 at ACKC Youth Field.

The Connetquot first baseman made Athletic Club KC defenders earn their pay, lashing Athletic Club KC pitching for 5 hits in 5 at-bats in the game. He told BNN reporters after the game that his strategy was "just hit it where they pitched it."

"Too often I try too hard to pull the ball," Ríos said in his postgame press conference. "Today, I just went with the pitch."

Ángel Ríos hit an RBI single in the 1st, singled in the 4th, doubled in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th and doubled in the 9th.
