Chukars Get Win, Hope to Turn Around Slow Start
Idaho Falls Chukars starter Markus Widner was in a rhythm all game. He led his team to a win over the Washington Generals, 4-0. Idaho Falls is off to a sluggish start, getting just their 3rd win in 13 games.

Tied up with the Generals in the bottom of the fourth inning, the Chukars got a boost from second baseman Hsui-chuan Hong. With runners on 1st and 2nd, Hong saw a 0-2 slider from Walt Crouch and hit a run-scoring single to break the stalemate and put Idaho Falls on top, 1-0.

"We cashed in when we had the chance," said Idaho Falls manager Kenny Billings.
