Mancelona shortstop Henrique de Senna Fernandes had a good game, even if his team did not. The Torch dropped a 11-6 decision to Kennesaw at Torch Field. de Senna Fernandes went 3 for 4 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. Júlio Gutiérrez got credit for the win, improving to 2-0. He allowed 5 runs on 8 hits in 6.1 innings. The Jets, now 12-1, have been on fire in the early going.
Thierry Honoré hit a run-scoring double off Tomás Mata in the top of the first, which put the Jets in front, 1-0. In addition to the double, Honoré had 2 singles, while going 3 for 5.
