It wasn't just another day at the ballpark for Ángel Ríos today. Ríos went on a tear and cracked hit after hit off Idaho Falls pitchers. When the dust settled on the diamond at Idaho Falls Park, he had a 5-for-5 line and a day he will long remember. And the Connetquot Chiefs had a 9-0 victory over the Chukars.
"Yeah, it'll be something nice to tell the grandkids, but it won't get me a hit tomorrow," he joked in the postgame interview.
Ángel Ríos singled in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Chia-kang Xiao in the 6th and singled in the 8th.
