Revolution Come Up Short at Highwood
|
Despite a fine performance by left fielder Rich Stevens, the York Revolution suffered a 4-3 loss to the Highwood Hawks. Stevens went 4 for 4 with a double and 3 singles. Highwood is now 47-45.
Early in the game, catcher Xiao-gang Xú had a bases-clearing triple for Highwood. It was his 1st triple of the season and put the Hawks on top, 4-2.
"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Xú told the Highwood Daily.
