Reapers Pull Off Thrilling Win in Extras
The Reapers had to overcome a fine performance from Myrtle Beach pitcher Pedro Vallés to grab a 4-3 win at The Coffin. Vallés allowed 2 earned runs over 7 innings. The winner was Troy Moore in relief. His record improves to 1-3. Juan Espinosa took the loss. The Reapers improve their record to 40-35 with the win over Myrtle Beach.

Late in the game, center fielder Brandon Palmer had a big at-bat for Grim. In the bottom of the 15th, he hit a run-scoring single off Juan Espinosa. The play gave the Reapers a 4-3 lead.

"If you want to be considered a good team, these are the kind of games you have to win," said Grim manager Enrique Zumaya.
