Reapers Turn Back Louisiana, 3-2
|
The Grim Reapers got a strong performance from pitcher Kabeya Kasongo, who stymied the Louisiana offense en route to a 3-2 win at Dragoons War Memorial Stadium. Jerry Magee closed it out for his 21st save. The Reapers' win now puts them at 37-32.
Guo-liang Ye's at-bat in the top of the sixth inning was a big one for Grim. Coming to bat with two out, runners on 1st and 3rd and Grim leading 2-1, the right fielder reached on an error by the left fielder, driving in 1 run.
"We did enough to win," said Kasongo.
