Reapers Fall to Dragoons, 8-5
|
The Louisiana Dragoons had to overcome a big game from Grim right fielder Guo-liang Ye to leave The Coffin with a 8-5 victory. Ye went 1-2 with a home run and 2 walks. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. Louisiana reliever Michael Curtis was credited with the win, to go to 2-1. Jonathan Floyd took the loss for Grim. Edmond McCord was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 2 of 3 save opportunities.
Brian Carr aided the Louisiana cause with a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the first. For the game, the first baseman drew 1 walk in 5 plate appearances.
"You know, at the end of the day, it's about who scores the most runs," said Louisiana manager Santiago Vargas.
