The Louisiana Dragoons got a strong performance from pitcher Stanley Bruner, who stymied the Grim offense en route to a 4-2 win at Dragoons War Memorial Stadium. Jorge Ochoa earned the save for Louisiana, his 17th of the year. The Dragoons have an impressive 34-20 record.

Had Spencer Gamble not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and a runner on 1st, Gamble hit a run-scoring double. That made the score 2-1, in favor of the Dragoons.

"Being able to contribute to a win is always a great feeling," Gamble told the Louisiana Observer.
