Fans who gathered at York Park saw a good contest between the Syracuse Storm and York Revolution.

Syracuse starter Craig Fitzgerald pitched effectively against the York Revolution at York Park. The left-hander led his team to a 3-1 win. The winning pitcher was Fitzgerald, now 5-4. He tossed 8 innings of 5-hit ball, while walking 3 and fanning 5.

Syracuse used the timely hitting of Brenton Winston to capture the win. The left fielder stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the seventh inning to put the Storm on top, 2-1. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but he made it count.

Winston described the clubhouse as "strangely calm" after the game.
