Dragoons Use Late-Game Magic to Beat Storm
The Syracuse Storm got a superb performance from pitcher Keith Belcher. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Louisiana. The Dragoons won the game, 4-2. In spite of the loss, Belcher was named the player of the game. He threw 9 innings allowing 4 runs. The save went to Noe Toepfer, his 1st this season. Louisiana, at 25-16, sits in third place in the Menard's A.

David Martínez made it 4-2 in favor of Louisiana when he delivered a 2-run home run. It came with one out in the top of the eighth. The Dragoons went on to win.

Martínez told a Louisiana Observer reporter that he was "more than satisfied" with the win.
