Revolution Beat Storm in 10
|
Storm Park was the site of a exceptional pitchers' duel.
The Revolution had to overcome a good performance from Syracuse pitcher Donnie Rawling to claim a 2-1 win at Storm Park. Rawling went 7 innings and allowed no earned runs. York has now won 4 straight.
Lawrence Stokes made it 2-1 in favor of York when he delivered a run-scoring single. It came with two out in the top of the tenth. The Revolution went on to win.
"We came out on the wrong end of this one," said Syracuse skipper Lockwood Rose.
