It was a fun time at Storm Park, where the Hogsmeade Cauldrons and Syracuse Storm tangled.
The Syracuse Storm bested the Hogsmeade Cauldrons, 5-3, at Storm Park. Sylvester Robinson was named player of the game. He was 1 for 1 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Gerald Plomp finished to wrap up his 3rd save.
Robinson had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the seventh. On a 1-1 curveball from Randy Nixon, he banged a 3-run home run to left, giving the Storm a 5-3 lead. It was the 1st home run of the year for Robinson.
"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Robinson.
The win puts the Storm at 10-14, while the Cauldrons drop to 9-15.
