Rincón Excels, But Hawks Win
The Highwood Hawks had to overcome a big game from Grim shortstop Fernando Rincón to leave Hawks Field with a 8-5 victory. Rincón was 3-4 with a home run and a double, while adding 5 RBI and scoring once. Kenny Hannah got credit for the save for Highwood. It was his 8th of the year. Highwood, at 12-11, occupies 5th place in the Menard's A.

Highwood took a 8-5 lead in the bottom of the eighth inning. With one out, left fielder Leon Green hit a 3-run home run that set the crowd abuzz.

"I just try to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Green.
