Jim MacRach helped his team muscle past the Lake Minnetonka Love Boats, 7-3. In the game, the Chesapeake third baseman went 2-5 with a home run and a double. He drove in 5 runs and scored once. With the win, the Continentals improved to 54-42.
Santiago Valentín made it 4-3 in favor of Chesapeake when he delivered a run-scoring single. It came with two out in the top of the ninth. The Continentals went on to win.
"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said MacRach. "And not try to do too much."
