Love Boats Jolt Loons with Late Rally
Minnesota got a terrific performance from pitcher Greguorio Espora, but it wasn't enough to beat the Lake Minnetonka Love Boats. Lake Minnetonka won the Loony Bin contest, 6-4. Espora was the player of the game despite being on the losing side. He threw 7 innings of 4-hit ball. Lake Minnetonka, at 46-42, occupies 5th place in the Premier AA.

Matt Palmer tagged a home run off Quan Shiu in the top of the eighth. His 2-run blast put the Love Boats on top, 5-4. In all, Palmer had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.

"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Palmer. "And not try to do too much."
