Reno third baseman George Albaugh made his presence felt in the 8-5 Silver Sox triumph over the Chesapeake Continentals. Albaugh was 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 4. Reno has run its win streak to 5 in a row.
Albaugh had a game-changing single in the top of the eighth. On a full count fastball from Joseph Chartier, he banged a 2-run single to left-center, giving the Silver Sox a 6-4 lead. It was the 21st hit of the year for Albaugh.
